Diego el Cigala es el encargado de poner el broche de oro al cartel de actuaciones del Festival de Cante de las Minas 2011 la noche del 9 de agosto. El cantaor madrileño hace un alto en al gira de su último álbum 'Cigala & Tango' para ofrecer un recital de cante flamenco tradicional. Así lo hizo a lo largo de la temporada en festivales como Suma Flamenca 2011 de Madrid, al que acudió acompañado de Diego del Morao, Piraña, Sabú, Juan Grande, Ané Carrasco y Bo para recorrer estilos como tangos, bulerías y alegrás, pero también tarantos y tonás. Y a partir de mañana le toca el turno a los aspirantes. Los días 10, 11 y 12 tendrán lugar las seminifinales del concurso de cante, guitarra, baile e instrumentista flamenco. El 13 de agosto será la gala final y la entrega de premios.

Diego el Cigala is the flamenco figure chosen to offer the finishing touches to Las Minas Cantes Festival 2011, on August 9th. The famous singer makes a pause in his Cigala & Tango’s tour to perform a traditional flamenco recital. He offered that classical concert during the last season, in festivals such as Suma Flamenca 2011 in Madrid, accompanied by Diego del Morao, Piraña, Sabú, Juan Grande, Ané Carrasco and Bo, playing styles like tangos, bulerías and alegrías, but also tarantos and tonás. And from tomorrow, it's the turn of the applicants. On August 10th, 11th and 12th will take place the contest’s seminifinals of singing, guitar, dance and instruments. The final gala and awards ceremony will take place on August 13th.
