Eva
Yerbabuena, Israel Galván y Olga Pericet, finalistas de los Premios
Max 2012. El baile flamenco vuelve a copar opciones en la final de
los galardones de las artes escénicas españolas. Eva Yerbabuena,
ganadora de varios premios en anteriores ediciones, es finalista en
las categorías de Mejor Espectáculo de Danza por ‘Cuando yo era’,
compitiendo con las candidaturas de Gelabert Azzopardi, Trànsit
Dansa y 10 & 10 danza. Asimismo, pasa a la final de Mejor
Coreografía y Mejor Intérprete Femenina por ‘Federico según
Lorca’, estatuilla esta última a la que también opta la bailaora
Olga Pericet por ‘Rosa, metal, ceniza’ y la bailarina
contemporánea Carmen Werner. Israel Galván (mejor bailarín el
pasado año por ‘Israel Galván vs. Los 3.000’) puja también al
premio coreográfico por ‘La curva’, espectáculo que además le
da opción al de Mejor Intérprete Masculino de Danza, donde compite
con Antonio Najarro (actual director del Ballet Nacional de España)
por ‘Suite Sevilla’ y Cesc Gelabert por ‘Belmonte’. La gala
final se celebrará el 30 de abril de 2012 en el Teatro Circo Price
de Madrid. Bailaores flamencos como Rafael Amargo, Sara Baras,
Cristina Hoyos, Merche Esmeralda, El Junco, Antonio Canales, Antonio
Gades y Joaquín Cortés, entre otros, forman parte de la historia de
galardonados.

Max Awards. Flamenco dancing once again opts for prizes in the final
of the Spanish performing arts awards. Eva Yerbabuena, winner of
several prizes in previous editions, is a finalist in the categories
of Best Dance Show for ‘Cuando yo era’, competing with candidates
Gelabert Azzopardi, Trànsit Dansa and 10 & 10 danza. At the
same time, she is in the final of Best Choreography and Best Female
Performer for ‘Federico según Lorca’, the latter statuette also
being opted for by bailaora Olga Pericet for ‘Rosa, metal, ceniza’
as well as contemporary dancer Carmen Werner. Israel Galván (best
dancer last year for ‘Israel Galván vs. Los 3.000’) also bids
for the choreography award for ‘La curva’, a show with which he
moreover opts for the Best Male Dance Performer, where he competes
with Antonio Najarro (current director of the Ballet Nacional de
España) for ‘Suite Sevilla’ and Cesc Gelabert for ‘Belmonte’.
The final gala will be held on April 30rd, 2012 at the Teatro Circo
Price in Madrid. Flamenco bailaores such as Rafael Amargo, Sara
